Project Overview

VanCon installed 2,200 linear feet of 34-inch HDPE pipe along Bangerter Highway and directionally bored 500 feet under UTA, Union Pacific railroad tracks, and the Jordan River to install 38-inch casing. The bore was the longest directional drill bore in Utah at the time. VanCon also installed a valve vault with an air vac station. The project had groundwater a foot below finish grade and required pumping throughout the project.
