Project Overview

To expand Sand Hollow State Park in Utah, VanCon installed 30 campsites, underground utilities, a shower/restroom, a pavilion, 32 shade structures, a parking lot, and a lift station with two 3 HP submersible pumps on 9 acres with 3 miles of roadway. Once the roadways were asphalted, a heavy rainstorm washed out large portions of the road, which VanCon then repaired. Constant wind required assembling the pavilions on the ground instead of building them in place. The site was shut down for a day for the Ironman, and workers had to be constantly vigilant for people on ATVs.
