Springville Pressurized Irrigation Mainline Phase 2B

Project Overview

VanCon installed 5,000 linear feet of 30-inch PVC irrigation pipe, jack and bored under the railroad in two locations to install 42-inch steel casing (one bore tunneled under three railroad lines in a single bore and shored up an irrigation waterline that conflicted with the bore pit), and installed carrier pipe, fittings, valves, and drains. PR included scheduling with private landowners for land restoration, construction access, and staging. UDOT traffic control included setting up VMS boards, lane shifts, detour routing, railroad flagging, and signage. Agricultural land restoration, landscaping, sod, and sprinkler repairs completed the work.
