Project Overview

VanCon installed a new pump station with three 200 HP vertical turbine pumps, a hydro-pneumatics surge tank, an overhead bridge crane, steel piping, valves, metering, a backup power generator, SCADA, instrumentation, and controls. In addition to the station, VanCon installed 5,000 linear feet of 12-inch culinary ductile iron pipe, four air valve vaults with isolation valves, drains, twelve buried gate valves, connections to existing piping, and made modifications to an existing tank drain. The project required traffic control, landscaping and irrigation, plantings, stormwater detention, reseeding, concrete, curb, gutter, asphalt, surface restoration, and various pump station and pipeline appurtenances.
