The water table onsite was 3 feet deep — vaults 15 to 20 feet deep required continual dewatering throughout the project.

Eagle Mountain WWTP Headworks
Eagle Mountain · Utah County · 2024
VanCon built a new headworks building and flow meter vault in an existing facility and installed influent screens, grit washing and removal equipment, a grit pump, slide gates, and connections to existing piping to divert influent lift station through the headworks building before supplying the ox ditch. VanCon's fabrication shop made the interior and exterior steel staircases and handrail and the channel supports and plates for the electrical room.

PRWID WTTP Nutrient Upgrades
Price · Carbon County · 2024
VanCon remodeled equipment in the WWTP including RAS and WAS pumps, slide and stop gates, digester mixer draft tubes, fine air diffusers, mud valves, launder troughs, weir plates, headworks screen, a flow meter, draft tube repair, and electrical upgrades. The concrete in the sludge basins turned out to be heavily spalled once the basins were drained, so they were repaired by change order. The work required bypass pumping. The superintendent worked with the engineer to redesign the basement piping for efficiency and maintenance.
