CUWCD Santaquin Booster Station & Pipeline
Santaquin · Utah County · 2019
Originally designed for eight pumps, VanCon used the CM/GC process to create a plan Santaquin City accepted to reduce to four pumps while installing pump cans for four future pumps. Construction included a meter vault housing two 125 HP irrigation pumps and two 75 HP culinary pumps, cans for four future pumps, 1,000 feet of PVC culinary pipe, 300 feet of 48-inch reinforced concrete storm drain, a 16-inch manifold, a 10-inch culinary line, and a 48-inch RCP culvert for drainage. The pump station was connected with 1,100 feet of 18-inch PVC irrigation transmission pipeline, and the existing valve was automated for remote control from the pump station.

Logan Crockett Well Rebuild
Logan · Cache County · 2022
VanCon demolished an existing deteriorated well house, salvaged parts, built a new well house, and installed a 700 HP vertical turbine pump, flow meter, and chlorine gas injection. Construction involved high groundwater, digging into the side of an unstable hilltop, and a large volume of pedestrians. Due to design issues, VanCon became a design partner with the city, redesigning the retaining wall in a bunker-style vault to deal with the high groundwater and building dewatering wells and trenches.
